Overview

Four Night cruise in an elegant balcony suite on the Chobe River aboard the Zambezi Queen, with overnights at the wildlife lodges in amazing national parks along with a visit to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. All while overindulging in complimentary wine, beer, and local spirits and exquisite dining experiences by Amawaterways via Sulan Rouge.

Day 1: Arrival to Johannesburg airport. Private Driver to transfer you to the Fairlawns Boutique Hotel & Spa.

Day 2: Fly to Kasane, Botswana for transfer to the Zambezi Queen moored on the Namibia side of the Chobe River via Tender boats. Unpack, indulge in a Welcome Cocktail Reception and Dinner, and then relax in your luxurious stateroom.

Day 3: Take part on a morning boat safari while exploring the Chobe River’s game. Return to the Zambezi Queen for lunch to be followed by another boat safari in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Enjoy breakfast and then prepare for a full day safari with a picnic lunch at the Chobe National Park via 4×4 open top vehicle. Potential to see elephants, giraffe, zebra, sable, warthogs, and cape buffalo.

Day 5: Private trip to an African village to spend time with the local culture. Indulge in lunch onboard and options for various activities in the afternoon. Look forward for entertainment and enjoy an African-themed dinner hosted by the crew.

Day 6: Wakeup and partake on a morning cruise during breakfast while looking at the wildlife. Transfer to One of the Seven Natural Wonders, Victoria Falls and explore the town or partake in several activity options offered at the hotel. Partake in the exceptional cocktail and appetizer reception aboard a vintage steam train while making your way to the Victoria Falls Bridge in time for sunset over the falls.

Day 7: Private local guided tour of Victoria Falls followed by a private sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. Dinner is served with live local entertainment at the hotel.

Day 8: Enjoy breakfast then join a private transfer for your flight to Johannesburg. Transfer and settle back to the Fairlawns Boutique Hotel.

Day 9: Private guided tour of Johannesburg to include a visit to the Mandela House. Enjoy a multicourse dinner.

Day 10: Private transfer to fly to the Greater Kruger National Park and transfer to luxurious game lodge for relaxation and camaraderie with the other fellow travelers if desired.

Day 11: After breakfast, climb in and enjoy an open air vehicle safari tour in Kruger Park. Rest of the day is spent at your leisure at the lodge. The afternoon will provide another safari drive into the bush to potentially see cheetahs, hyenas, and lions.

Day 12: Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast as you’ll partake on two safari drives throughout the day. Followed by rest and relaxation at your leisure at the lodge.

Day 13: Wake up to an early morning safari drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Private transfer to the airport for flight to Johannesburg for your connecting flight home. Options to add a five day Mountain Gorilla excursion in Rwanda at the end of the trip.

Victoria Falls &

Also known as, one of the seven natural wonders of the world and given the local name of Mosi-oa-Tunya, the combined height and width of Victoria Falls makes it the largest waterfall in the world. At twice the height of Niagara Falls, the spray and mists rise upwards to about 260 miles and can be seen from over 30 miles. The thunderous echoes are heard for miles and has earned the local name translated to “The Smoke That Thunders.”
